inserting .tif images into PDF file

Does anyone know if it is possible to use PDFinclude to insert .tif images into a PDF file instead of .jpg files for images?

It is currently not possible.
Although I have a - not yet published - version which can insert png files, including png with transparency, tiff file support has not been implemented.
However this could be done, depending on your needs and planning, if you'd agree to finance it.
The other solution is to transform your tiff into a jog file (the only file format supported in the published version) and insert it into your pdf.
