GIF and PNG Images

I am trying to work with GIF or PNG images. It looked like the main page on PDFInclude said it was now supported but I cannot find any information on it. Do you have to use the template functionality to do this?

png images

Hi I was just wondering if the status of using images, in particular png images has changed since the last post back in 2011?

Thanks Greg.

docxfactory

docxfactory (docxfactory.com/tutorial) basically supports all known image types as well as approx. 100 1d and 2d barcodes and other specialized fields and can also create pdf files.

ps. an open source version will be released soon.

pdf_(load|place)_image

no you don't need templates. You can just use the image apis to include an image in your pdf:
* pdf_load_image
* pdf_place_image (or pdf_place_image2)

GIF and PNG Images

I have tried to use GIF and PNG images when generating PDF. When creating the document, it does not retrieve any error message, but when trying to open the generated file, I receive the below error message:

"There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired"

Does anybody know how to workaround that issue?

Thanks.

GIF & PNG not currently supported

GIF & PNG are not currently supported, I'm currently implementing this ; already works with PNG but still soes not take well them into account when they have an alpha channel...
Could improve more rapidly if somebody would finance it a little bit...
