Federal IT integrator is seeking several Progress Developers for full-time, salary positions with full benefits to work in Fairfax, VA (outside of Washington DC). Reimbursement for relocation not provided.

Progress Developer opportunities - Fairfax, VA (multiple positions, mid-level & senior)

Responsibilities:

Perform WebSpeed Application Development and Maintenance. Work with the Development Manager and Business Analysts on design, prototyping, programming, coding, testing, integration, support and deployment of updates as needed. Develop new modules, features and reports to support the business and marketing needs. Develop code using SpeedScript, Progress 4GL, XML and other languages in a Unix environment. Develop and maintain technical (design documents, unit and integration plans) and end-user documentation. Research and fix data errors as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 4 years Progress 4GL or SpeedScript Experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of WebSpeed Experience.
- Minimum of 1 year development on a Unix environment.
- Must be experienced in HTML and JavaScript.
- Must be a US citizen.

Desired:

- Programming against an Oracle Dataserver.
- XML/SOAP Experience.
- PVCS or Subversion - Version Control Software.
- Experience on large scale applications.
- Experience on a CMMI assessed organization.
