When it is "width" (e.g. 1251.diff), there must be 8 lines following. They represent the width of the characters in the fonts: Times-Roman,Times-Bold,Times-Italic,Times-BoldItalic,Helvetica,Helvetica-Bold,Helvetica-Oblique,Helvetica-BoldOblique which are the variable length fonts present in the pdf base fonts. b. when it is "ref" (e.g. iso8859-2.diff), there must be one line following.
